​The Premier Mist product portfolio includes the design, supply and installation of compliant Wet Riser installations to BS 9990:2006.



A Wet Riser is often required in a building where Premier Mist are engaged in the provision of water mist fire suppression systems and therefore it can be cost effective to award this element of the works to Premier Mist.

A main vertical pipe is used to disperse water to multiple levels of a building or structure as a component of the fire suppression system.

Installations are required to buildings more than 60 meters high and provide the fire service with access to water in the event of a fire.

The pipe work ( and the reason it is called a wet riser) is charged and supplied with pressurised water by means of a dual pump system 'duty' and 'standby' from a water storage tank.

A landing valve is provided on each storey of a building to enable the fire service to access water via a hose-valve coupling at the required level.
